WINSHAM COMMUNITY NEWS

Big changes to the format of the Winsham
Parish Web Site; a new approach to distributing news of parish
events
and items
of interest to residents of Winsham
Recently
it was announced that the Winsham E- letter would be stopped,
and replaced by Winsham Community News, which would be found on
the Winsham Parish Web Site. This, it was hoped, would bring
benefits to a wide range of residents, by making parish
information more easily and more quickly available via mobile
phones and other digital appliances.
Arising
out of this has come the decision to improve the way in which
visitors can access information, by changing the format of the
Home Page of the Parish Web Site. The first stage of this work
has now been completed, although some work is still needed in
the editing of some of the links, and this will probably not be
completed for a few weeks yet.
Meanwhile, this will have a minor roll-on effect on the
Community Newsletter, which will continue as usual, However,
readers should still have no difficulty in finding the
information they need.

WINSHAM COMMUNITY NEWS
Spring
The quiet fields awake
in trembling light, Soft mist unravels where the hedgerows
dream; A blackbird lifts the morning on its flight, And
stirs the dew to sparkle in the gleam.
Along the lanes the primrose finds her voice, A shy, pale
lantern in the greening shade; The lambs in sudden leaps of
reckless choice Turn every patch of meadow into play.
The orchards breathe a promise on the air, Their blossom
drifting like a whispered vow; The world grows young again,
divinely fair, As life breaks gently from the furrowed brow.
So Spring steps in with calm, unhurried grace, And hope
walks softly in her shining trace.
