WINSHAM COMMUNITY NEWS
A new approach to distributing news of parish
events
and items of interest to residents
of Winsham
In future, a replacement for the Winsham E-letter, will appear
as a part of Winsham Parish Web Site, named Winsham Community News.
A considerable benefit from this is that the
tabulated area will carry the latest news of events and their location, to which you link to
your smart phone ,Tablet, Laptop or PC. The date of the latest
up-date will be found at the top of the tabulated section.
The area will also continue to be accessed from the
Winsham Community Facebook page.
You will be able to see quickly, what is going on in the
parish . However , as always, it is dependent on event
organisers etc, letting me know about them, by e-mail, or
phone.
This new way of presenting information will also make it
easier for the organisers of small events and new groups to get
their voice heard.
The first edition of the new Winsham
Community News will be found below by just scrolling down on this web page.
If some parish news does not lend itself to
presentation in tabulated form, or as a direct announcement,
it will usually be covered in a short comment
at the foot of the tabulated area.
Enjoy,
John Sullivan

Winter
Some birds migrate-the brave
ones stay;
the woodland creatures ghost the trees,
The ground's aglitter, hard and crisp;
the nights are long, the dawn's a'freeze!
