THE BELL IS UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP. Since the beginning of July 2026 THE BELL has been under the new ownership of Lynette and Peter. Experienced publicans they hope to bring  continuity of service and an 'open more hours' approach, for the increased satisfaction of  their regular and new patrons. They are experiencing a few problems associated with the change over. Please note that temporary problems have emerged with their landline telephone service, which may take until the end of August to correct. Mobile phone contact is also proving difficult! There are also delays in offering a full meal service due to upgrading of kitchen facilities. See below. ** THE BELL has survived worse-for many years there were no telephones- and it survived two World Wars. JUST DROP IN if you want to ask a question or book an event.
