Winsham Football Club.  The Club plays in Divisions 2 & 4 of the Perry Street & District League on Saturday afternoon during the football season. Training night is on Wednesday at 6.30 p.m.  Ladies Team. Training: Tuesday, 6.30 p.m. Plays in Somerset Women’s League. New members are welcome. Contacts: Simon or Addie Douglass (61381).

Winsham Short-Mat Bowls Club.  Club night is Friday night, at 8.00pm at the Sports & Social Club.  New members welcome.  Contact:  Margaret Long (30457).

Winsham Ki Aikido Club.  
In the Japanese art of Ki Aikido there is no aggression, tension or competition. Classes are suitable for all levels of fitness and may be practised equally by men and women. The purpose of the practice is to learn to co-ordinate our mind and body through enjoyable exercise, which
will enhance the quality of our lives. The benefits of practising Ki Aikido include: exercise; health; stress relief; dynamic movement; meditation; and confidence building. It
provides enjoyment for any age, size or ability.
The Club meets in the Jubilee Hall on Mon, 6.30-8.30 pm, and Thurs,7.30-9.30 pm. Contact: Sensei Eileen Honeybun (6th Dan). 01297 34255.
