Leigh House Fund Raiser was a real success
There were real concerns among the members of the Jubilee Hall Management Committee that the annual major fund raising event that has been organised to meet the cost of the Hall refurbishment was quite literally going to be a washout! It turned out that we needn't have worried. The weather for the evening quite simply could not have been better it was sunny, warm  and windless. Everyone entered into the spirit of things, and £902 was raised to meet the still outstanding debt of £6,000.
Many thanks to Clifford & David for their generosity in letting us use their garden (and also a big thank - you  to David's Mum who donated the Karaoke machine to the raffle).
Below are a few pictures of the revels!

Beware of the Jitterbug!

The number of raffle prizes donated was tremendous. Many came from individuals, and our thanks goes out to them all.  Prizes were also donated by Winsham Shop, Tiger's Oshen Oasis Internet Cafe, the Magdalen Project, the Wildlife Park and Somerfields, for which the JHMC are very grateful.

Pictures by Colin Langridge and John Sullivan-other contributions are welcome
