WINSHAM ART CLUB AUTUMN PROGRAMME
SEPTEMBER
Tuesday 2nd - Coffee Morning Yvonne Davis, of The Byre
Cottage, Colham Lane,
Winsham, (01460 30093) is kindly hosting the first Coffee Morning of the Autumn
Session. The subject for this month's painting, for those wishing to
participate, is
'Reflections'. Yvonne would naturally like to have an idea of the number to
expect, so
a 'phone call would be appreciated if you are unable to come.
Monday 8th - Workshop with Michael Chappell Techniques using
Sponges and
Masking Tape (watercolour or acrylic). Michael will be bringing along some
sponges.
Monday 15th - Non-tutored meeting.
Monday 22nd -Workshop with Jo Hamilton Drawing and
Painting Lilies. (You will need an HB pencil, paints and paper).
Monday 29th - Non-tutored meeting.
OCTOBER
Coffee Morning Date, venue and subject for painting to be decided at
September Coffee Morning.
Monday 6th - Workshop with Michael Chappell Still Life using
bold strokes - in
medium of your choice.
Monday 13th - Non-tutored meeting.
Monday 20th - Workshop with Jo Hamilton Pen and wash -
figures, objects and
flowers. (You will need a water-soluble pen, drawing paper, watercolour paper
and
any scraps).
Friday 24th EXHIBITION PREVIEW 7.00p.m. - 9.00p.m.
Saturday 25th Exhibition 10.00a.m. -
5.00p.m.
Sunday 26th Exhibition
10.00a.m. - 4.30p.m.

NOVEMBER

Monday 3rd - Non-tutored meeting.
Monday 10th - Workshop with Michael Chappell Michael will
give you a choice of
subjects, or be open to suggestions, at his October Workshop.
Monday 17th- Non-tutored meeting.
Monday 24th - Workshop with Jo Hamilton Drawing Practise - Light to Dark
work
(Chiaroscuro) (Natural objects) You will need an HB pencil and a soft shading
pencil
- 4,5 or 6B).
DECEMBER -
Tuesday 9th CHRISTMAS DINNER at LUCY'S.
It would be advantageous if members could arrive at
1.45p.m. on Workshop Days, as this would enable us to have a full 2 hours'
tuition.
It is hoped that the Workshops will be well attended and enjoyed by all. Should
the subject be of no interest to you, neither Michael nor Jo will be offended if
you choose to 'do your own thing'. They will, however, be happy to advise you on
any aspect of your work, if asked.
