Our well know poet and author, explores the literary
highways and byways of Somerset from Anglo Somerset
times right up to the present day. Not just Wordsworth
and Coleridge but William Dampier, T S Elliot, John
Steinbeck, John Locke, Thomas Hardy and the 2nd World
War Poet John Jarmain to name a few....

Cider Tasting. Jubilee Hall 7.00pm. Friday,9th Oct

A talk by James Crowden
about the history of cider making accompanied by the
famous pomologist Liz Copas who will talk about Somerset
Cider Apples. The evening will be accompanied by cider
tastings from top notch local cider producers including
Dinnington Cider Press, Wyldlands Cider from Monkton
Wyld and Temple Cider from near Pilsdon Pen and Simon
Rawlins from Horton. Their cider will also be for sale
(Subject to License application).
Tickets £10 from Winsham Village Shop.
Proceeds go to Winsham United Charities ( After License
charge).
