join Winsham Horticultural Society for a relaxed social
evening on from 7 – 8pm, 8th October at the
Jubilee Hall. Entry and refreshments free. Take a seat and enjoy a cup of tea and a piece of cake. Watch our short film as we travel round some of Winsham’s gardens that our WHS members displayed at the last Open Gardens Day. See our photographic display. Remember the events that Winsham Horticultural has provided this year. the Annual Plant Sale, the Hanging Basket Demo, a social morning with the Gardeners Question Time, the all important Annual Show and our recent wildlife talk on Bats.

WINSHAM CIDER BONANZA Cider History and Cider Tasting. Jubilee Hall 7.00pm. Friday,9th Oct . A talk by James Crowden
about the history of cider making accompanied by the
famous pomologist Liz Copas who will talk about Somerset
Cider Apples. The evening will be accompanied by cider
tastings from top notch local cider producers including
Dinnington Cider Press, Wyldlands Cider from Monkton
Wyld and Temple Cider from near Pilsdon Pen and Simon
Rawlins from Horton. Their cider will also be for sale
(Subject to License application).
