INTRODUCTION TO AIKIDO

Introduction to Aikido 1. Monday,28th September,6.30-8.30pm.  Demonstrations, Voluntary participation, Refreshments, Admission Free.

After a welcome and brief introduction to Ki-Aikido, by the club leader,  Eileen Honeybun, there will be refreshments, an opportunity to meet the members, and an invitation to come and try for yourself.

Introduction to Aikido 2, Monday,5th October 6.30-8.30pm  Admission Free.

The second of the two events within the festival.
Come and try aikido for yourself. A completely free taster session.
1st part, Ki Development, involving paired exercises to explore the effect of using our mind and body together.
2nd part Ki Aikido.  Here you can work with a partner to discover the beautiful movements within aikido.
We look forward to meeting you. This is  an open evening when anyone can come and try 90 minutes of Ki and Aikido practice at no cost. Wear loose clothing and bare feet. The completion of a 'Guest form' with basic information is required for insurance purposes.
