The ART  GALLERY   at Winsham

Winsham is a small village that nestles in the valley of  the River Axe near Chard, Somerset.
A small community has lived there since Saxon times and now counts among its numbers a group of talented artists. Some of their work can be seen here. It encompasses Oil, Watercolour, Acrylic & Pastel,  mixed media and Photography.
Pictures are purchased on a sale or return basis, and normally dispatched unmounted. Please contact the artist from whom you are buying your picture to make arrangements for dispatch and payment.

Please note: Considerable care is taken to ensure that the reproduction of colour and tone is as accurate as possible. Often the artists themselves are involved with the transfer of their work into digital form to ensure that it is reproduced as faithfully as possible. Accuracy of reproduction does however rely on the type of graphics card installed on the PC or laptop on which the image is viewed.

Annie Dent is a photographer with a deep love of the natural world.  She uses both traditional and digital means to portray the world around her as she sees it.  Photographers go through the same mental processes as artists who work in oils and watercolours. Only the tools are different.   There is a permanent display of her photographs at the Jubilee Hall, which can be seen by appointment with the artist.
